SGUS: General Admission Information

Please note: You must be a current University of
Michigan student to be admitted to the SGUS program

Application Process

  1. Apply to the AOSS SGUS program (PDF Application). Please be sure to have it signed by the SGUS Program advisor, Dr. Frank Marsik  (atmospheric science) or Dr. Darren McKague (space engineering) and your undergraduate advisor.
  2. Schedule a meeting with Dr. Marsik or Dr. McKague
  3. During your senior year:
    1. Atmospheric/Space Science SGUS students apply to the MS program through the Rackham Graduate School.
    2. Space Engineering SGUS students apply to the MEng program through the
      College of Engineering
      .

Graduation

You will receive your BS upon completion of your undergraduate degree requirements.

Please Note: During your senior year, a graduate application must be submitted to Rackham
or the College by the required deadlines.
